A journey through the ocean
SEA LIFE offers a unique opportunity to take a journey from Dutch waters to the deepest oceans, complete with colourful corals and impressive sea creatures. Stroll through the underwater tunnel, surrounded by 180,000 litres of water, and watch sharks and turtles swim by quietly above your head. During your visit, you will pass more than 45 aquariums, where you will come face to face with animals such as cod, starfish and extraordinary rays. In the exotic Amazonia section, imagine yourself in a tropical rainforest and meet the inhabitants of the Amazon River, including the infamous piranhas.
Interactive experience in the feeling pool
SEA LIFE Scheveningen also offers visitors the opportunity to experience the underwater world up close. At the interactive feeler pool, under the guidance of a staff member, you can get to know sea anemones and other special marine animals. Here you can, very gently, touch their soft tentacles and add a unique experience to your day.

From our hotel, you can reach SEA LIFE Scheveningen within an hour by public transport. Start your journey at NS Station Sassenheim, just a 10-minute walk from our hotel. Take the train from here towards SEA LIFE. For exact transfer locations and departure times, please consult the NS website.
Our hotel is located next to the A44, ideal for visiting SEA LIFE by car. You can reach SEA LIFE from our hotel in just 25 minutes. When entering The Hague, follow the signs to Scheveningen Bad, towards the Kurhaus.
Please note! Do not proceed to Strandweg, as this is a one-way road leading to the harbor where you cannot turn back.
Parking
SEA LIFE does not have its own parking facilities, but offers a special rate for Strand parking garage. After your visit, you can purchase a ticket with a 50% discount on your parking time at the counter. It takes about 15 minutes to walk from Strand parking garage to SEA LIFE Scheveningen.
