The collection of the LAM museum

The LAM museum houses the world's largest collection of food art. Here you will find artworks that shed a unique light on your daily life. From a giant porcelain installation of a year's worth of food and drink to chocolates as big as footballs. Admire a festive table where wine and champagne flow abundantly and a three-meter-long bunch of moldy grapes made from gemstones.

The collection consists of various art forms such as 3D images, installations, paintings, sound artworks, and digital art. Renowned artists such as Yinka Shonibare, Kathleen Ryan, Itamar Gilboa, and Ron Mueck present their work here. Each artwork tells a story about the everyday topics that connect us all.

Special surroundings and architecture

Located in the picturesque Keukenhof Estate, a visit to the LAM museum is perfect to combine with a walk through the estate or the nearby Keukenhof Woods. The LAM museum itself is an architectural masterpiece designed by Arie Korbee of KVDK Architects. The building, with its large windows and use of natural materials, offers spectacular views and seems to float among the treetops. The public footpath through the museum and the showcase provide a unique experience, even before you enter the exhibition spaces.
