A visit to the Keukenhof in Lisse should not be missed during your stay at Van der Valk Hotel Sassenheim-Leiden! ‘A World of Colours’ is the theme of Keukenhof. People from all countries and cultures meet in Keukenhof to view the splendour of Dutch flowers. Everyone loves flowers, spring, tulips and bright bulb fields. Flowers and colours belong to celebrations and rituals worldwide, in every culture in its own way. Discover the power of colours in Keukenhof, the most colourful spring garden in the world!
Keukenhof is open from March 23 to May 14, 2023.
Keukenhof is open for flower lovers during the spring season from mid-March to mid-May. There are over seven million crocuses, tulips, lilies and hyacinths. In addition, various demonstrations and indoor shows are organized in the Royal Pavilions. The bloom in Keukenhof parallels nature. Early flowering varieties such as crocuses, daffodils, hyacinths and early tulips bloom at the beginning of the season. Later flowers such as (tall) tulips bloom. Keukenhof offers a fantastic experience.
