Looking for an extraordinary location for lunch, brunch or dinner? van der Valk hotel Sassenheim-Leiden has several attractive private rooms that you can hire exclusively for your special occasion, starting from 50 persons.
In creating the group menus, we make use of (local) seasonal products. Of course we always take into account specific (diet) requirements.
Lunch
On weekdays and when there is sufficient interest, we are happy to serve our extensive lunch buffet in the Live Cooking buffet restaurant. During the lunch buffet you can enjoy a varied selection of home baked bread, starters, main courses and desserts, delicious juices, coffee and tea.
Private lunch? Besides our lunch buffet we also serve lunches at your table. Please refer to our events brochure for the possibilities.
Brunch
Every week on Sundays, from 11:00 to 13:30, we serve a delicious Sunday brunch in our Live Cooking buffet restaurant. During the brunch buffet, you will enjoy a variety of cold and hot dishes, oven-fresh breads and different fillings from the extensive breakfast buffet, supplemented with a number of luxury extras:
- Festive glass of bubbly
- Choice of two delicious seasonal soups
- Freshly cut carpaccio and various mixed salads
- Various savoury cakes and snacks
- Closing with sweet temptations such as longueurs, a chocolate fountain and profiteroles.
Coffee, tea, milk and fruit juices are included. Optionally, you can also opt for a number of extra luxurious etagères or an extra festive closing with ice cream cake and fireworks.
Private brunch? Would you prefer to enjoy brunch exclusively in one of our rooms? A private brunch is served from 50 persons. We would be happy to get in touch with you to discuss your wishes.
Dinner
Whether you choose a buffet, a served dinner, an extensive barbecue or an informal walking dinner: Van der Valk Hotel Sassenheim - Leiden is the ideal location for a dinner for a large group. We like to think along with you to come to the perfect interpretation.
During your reception, party or dinner you can make use of our extensive beverage arrangement. We will serve your guests unlimited drinks from the domestic distilled range. Drinks packages can be booked for a minimum of 10 people. Please refer to our events brochure for the possibilities.

Of course, your reception is not complete without a delicious bite, made by our Chef! Whether you like a tasty Dutch snack, or prefer to serve your guests exclusive table snacks: there is plenty to choose from.
